Unstable internet connection

Smartflow acknowledges the struggle of people working on the field without a stable internet connection. Therefore it is designed to work both online and offline. In order to carry out the offline usage properly, the following information helps you to make sure that your data is stored and can be uploaded to the server once the application is online again.

First time login

For the first login, after downloading or updating, the offline mode does NOT work. It’s very important to make sure that you have a stable internet connection during your first login.

Offline usage

Three steps to make sure you complete your work with or without a stable internet connection:

 

No internet/ poor internet connection

You see this page while your internet connection is poor. Retry it at an area where better internet connection is present, or continue your work with offline mode enabled.

 

Turn on the offline mode

  1. Go to Smartflow login page.

  2. Click on the gear at top right.

  3. Switch Offline toggle to the right to turn on the offline mode.

  4. Go back to the login page.

  5. Log in with the right credentials.

Check form sync status

In the concerning view, you see the form you saved on your device. However if it’s not synced to the server the form will only be shown on your device. You can follow the steps below to make sure the form can be synced to the server:

  1. Log out to login page and click on the gear at top-right.

  2. Check if the offline mode is OFF

  3. Log in with a stable internet connection.

  4. Click on the concerning view.

  5. Click on the Refresh button at top right.
